We had fresh cut grass, with the new mower!
We are two weeks away from a first birthday!
We had a dash to the fabric store for some supplies. I usually do much of my buying on-line because I have not found the fabric store that I want and because most of the time fabric shopping with two kids in tow always seems so daunting, but today the trip was fun and very very quick! Some day I should go with a little more time on my hands to really look through things, I know Violet would love to tag along on that trip though, she loves to look at the "pretty fabric"!
I made my mom a mother's day card and felt like I was in elementary school again!
Anxiously awaited a package and was relieved when it finally came! (Hand puppets this weekend.)
Dashed to the playground to release a quick burst of energy before dinner.
And, I began to whip up a new baby gift
Now, I have to stop the sewing because I am looking for something for said baby gift and can not find it in the mess of my stash. So, while I would rather not, I must do a quick clean up before I can move any further!! I have no idea how things can get in such disarray so quickly. I suppose since I am squeezing in sewing time whenever I can that usually means that i am squeezing just the sewing part in, not the clean up.
Tomorrow?!! Tomorrow, is a "day off"! Tomorrow, I am off from kid duty for a bit and off to a tag sale with one of my favorite friends! I am beyond excited. Beyond excited to have some girl time, some girl time with Laura specifically, some adults only time, and a trip to the tag sale, hmmm, I wonder if we'll get anything good?! We shall see...
