I must confess, while going to the fabric store yesterday was fun, perhaps we should have gone to the grocery store instead. This morning I realized why...no coffee!! So, today it was off to Trader Joe's...and back we came with a
Bowling ball? Yes, I know I already gave it away in the post title...a watermelon!
Such a delicious summertime treat! I have no idea why, but I have only really liked watermelon since I was pregnant with Henry. My midwife told me that it is a natural diuretic so I ate and ate it and so began my love and Violet's love of watermelon. Yum, what a delicious mess!
And, in case you were wondering, the bag that I carried my watermelon home in is one of my new market bags!! It is reversible and crush-able, it's bottom is made of oilcloth, it's perfect to have as extra bag in your purse for groceries, etc...
If you are interested in one of these bags email me and let me know. I am selling them for $27. I am hoping that soon I will be able to make many of these and many of some of my other things and, GULP, go set up downtown at our weekly craft fair, fingers crossed on that goal!
