On our way to a local Fourth of July parade today Brad said to me "I think the Fourth of July is one of your favorite holidays." My response was sort of a "Why not?!" The Fourth of July is a great big birthday party! I love all holidays really. Any reason to get us all out together to celebrate and to be happy and to do fun stuff is a great holiday. I love parades and fireworks and street food and ice cream and flags and red, white, and blue! Really, what is there not to love about the Fourth? (Except maybe the fact that we don't live within walking distance of the NYC fireworks anymore, so no fireworks for us this year, sadly.)
