As I mentioned the other day I have a fondness for stars! I love them, not only during the holidays but everyday. And, with my love of stars, comes a lot of star holiday decorations with more added every year. In fact, I get a new handmade star ornament every year from Brad (these are awesome, I plan to share them next week!), but I don't leave it just up to him.
Aside from pine cone hunting...we also recently went on a stick hunt! There is something about a stick isn't there...so many imaginative possibilities when you give a child a stick. So, off we went, hunting for sticks...to protect us from imaginary bad guys, to use as fairy wands, to use as horses to ride on, and, in the end, to turn into stars!
We gathered many sticks and then broke them into pieces approximately 18inches long and then tied them together with some twine.
More natural Christmas decorations...and another walk with a "purpose"!
