There has been a lot of making going on around here lately, just not a lot of picture taking. Actually, the making has been a few gifts that have not yet been received, so more on those later...
Around here, the week started out a bit rough, but with a weather change things seem to be running a bit more smoothly...isn't it lovely how the change in the weather can change your mood too.
Around here I am finally getting started, or practicing rather, on my hand printed fabric for this fabric swap
I've carved out my bird.
Does the bird look familiar? Yes, it is the same bird as seen here. The bird was my plan when i signed up for the hand printed swap, I thought it might translate well.
I did a quick (very very quick) little dabble with it and some other things to see what I liked. Now, I guess I just need to get started...The only problem is...where did I put that yard of white fabric I bought?...It's a mystery as Violet says...So, now I am contemplating non white fabric...hmmm, that might require different paint....
Around here, I am relishing in these days of imaginative play between these two
And, lastly...after finding and pinning this on Pinterest the day after I was cursing my tangled bobbins...I am wondering why the heck I didn't think of that and enjoying this new simplicity!
