While I was sitting in front of the computer looking through and editing some photos Violet walked in sleepy eyed from her nap. She climbed up into the bed that is next to the computer and snuggled into it's unmaidness (from fort playing earlier in the day...). Then she saw the camera and asked if she could take some pictures?

And now, to the pretty little dress...
I used this pattern. The fabric is some of the new liberty lifestyle fabric and the pocket is quilt blocks marine flying geese. I added the yellow piping because I might just be into doing that sort of thing now ;) and because I thought that the added pop of color would be fun.
The dress is too big (seems to be a theme this week). There weren't any measurements in the pattern (unless I missed them) so I just went with the size 4/5. It doesn't fit like I imagined it would, but hopefully someday it will.
And, again, I don't mind much, because Violet really loves it...so that's really all that matters, right?!
She says that it makes her feel like she's getting ready "to go out to a fancy dinner or something!"
