I hope you enjoyed the Make it Up series! All of us here in our house did! The kids really enjoyed hearing everyone's stories...and now, of course, my crafty girl Violet wants to make something for every story we make up now. I asked for it I guess!
While we were making it up here, we were also busy getting Halloween costumes together (more on that later...)
We were also, exploring our local botanical garden and seeing the autumnal changes...
We were running out of the house while making banana bread to get a glimpse of a rainbow...
We went apple picking (no applesauce made yet though...)
We went on a very warm autumn hike at the local nature center to see some pretty leaves...
We made some masks...
We've been playing with our Five Little Pumpkins (thanks again for idea Delia) ...
And we raked...Which, of course, also means we jumped...
There's been a lot of outside time, enjoying this beautiful time of year! Well, of course, we weren't enjoying the outside yesterday as hurricane Sandy whipped through here, but we found ways to keep ourselves busy inside...
