I'm at it again. Making mobiles and stealing paper from the recycling bin. It's been a while actually. The flying birds have been flying in our windows since April. We were all so happy with them that they became a constant part of our decor. But, with winter coming and Christmas decorations up, it seemed that perhaps it was time for something new, something a bit more festive.
(Not that I threw the birds away, I couldn't bear that, I just tucked them away for Spring again)
Anywho, this time, I just cut up little triangle trees from holiday catalogs! This is the perfect time of year to make paper mobiles because all of those pesky catalogues that are clogging your mail box, or in my case, mail slot, are filled with lots of fun and festive photos!
I love how they have a bit of a Charley Harperesque look to them.
Perfectly suited to our eclectic, simple and rustic, holiday decorations.
