It's Giveaway Day!!
Hooray! And deepest apologies for being a bit late to the party...I had planned on getting this post up earlier in the day, but alas...instead of blog writing, etc...we were holiday decorating.
And, in fact, I have to say, that my plan was to giveaway one of my market bags
Because, aside from holiday decorating that is the other thing going on behind the scenes over here...bag making for a custom order! Fun, fun, but not done :(
So, instead of a bag (maybe next time) I thought I'd pass along a little bit of merry making instead!
First, in the spirit of Christmas, I thought I'd pass along a little bit of Joy
A Joy banner. This bunting is made of burlap, cotton fabric, and felt in green and red
holiday colors. There is a burlap circle with a felt holly leaf at the
beginning and end. Each burlap circle has a zig-zag stitch along the
edge to help prevent unraveling. Each fabric circle has been machine
stitched onto the burlap. And, each felt letter is machine stitched onto
the cotton fabric. Each completed circle is then sew onto jute twine.
The bunting will last for years to come and bring a festive feeling to
your winter holidays!
And, to keep you in the spirit of holiday decorating after Christmas is over...a copy of Heart- Felt Holidays
But wait there's more! How about a rainbow assortment of wool felt scraps to help get you started with your first project from the book.
And just because I love acorn caps, wool felt balls and peg people, I thought I'd toss those in too...a handfull of acorn caps (collected with love), 24 mixed colored wool felt balls (2 each of 12 different colors), and 7 peg people.
And, just in case you need some ideas for these supplies...fairy & peg people, clothespin fairies, acorn wreath, acorn cap tree, jingle bell and acorn capped garland, wool felt garland, pumpkin pockets, bunnies, flowers (daffodils), bird necklace, ornaments and branches...really the list is endless!!
Oh, thanks so much for stopping by!! It's so fun to get to know new people through these giveaway days! Please take a look around before you leave. There is so much to see, you'll find lots of sewing, crafting, nature hunting and kiddo crafts to name a few! Check out my tutorials and my shop too when you have a moment. Oh, and if you are looking for some holiday DIY ideas check out this post!
So, how to win...Leave me a comment. It can be anything, but if you want you can tell me what your favorite holiday is.
