Okay, yes, I know it's supposed to be an apple for the teacher, and, while I do love apples, a bag is much more practical!!
Tomorrow is Violet's last day of her first year of preschool, the first of many many last days of school, I'm not really emotional over the whole thing, just surprised! I am surprised at how fast this year went. I'm surprised at how much Violet has changed, grown-up and learned. I am a bit fearful at how quickly the next 15 years are going to fly by. I am thankful for her teacher who is so very patient and creative and thoughtful. I am thankful that Violet made friends at her wonderful little school. I am thankful for all the everyday things that she is learning without even realizing it while she is at school (and at home). This is not even goodbye to her teacher, she will see her again in a few weeks for a little "summer camp" and again in the fall for school again...that is not to say that she doesn't deserve a little thank you gift...
It's reversible!
The bottom is round (sorry the picture is not very good) and made of oilcloth. It's perfect to hold many things: towels, for a day at the pool, library books...
It's also very light weight and crushable, so it would be perfect for a trip to the farmer's market to carry peaches, corn, tomatoes...
Thank you Miss Alicia, for a wonderful first school year!
