A while back I saw this fun little Springtime project on Pinterest from Juniper Moon Farm.
And, yesterday with very mild Spring-like temperatures it seemed like a nice project to do. So, after a very busy day filled with visits from a grandmother and some friends and the tiredness that comes at the end of the afternoon of daylights savings time, this was a fun and restful and quiet activity. In fact, as Violet was cutting some yarn pieces, she proclaimed so herself, "This is a nice little afternoon project". I think she was happy to sit down :)
We HOPE it works and that some little birds find our yarn pieces and enjoy them in their nests. Ours is not brand new, nor is it jam packed as much as the one I referenced, but...if nothing else...it was a nice little project for the birds.
