Today I am thankful for a busy and full weekend!
I am thankful that I am not the only crafty minded one in the family, even Brad can hang with me!!
What a fun craft he planned with the kids!! I guess I should add this to the 10 Handmade Gifts for Mom post to make eleven! Really, though, a great gift for so many occasions!
I am thankful that, among other things, I spent a lot of time in the garden this weekend, with everyone by my side helping out...
I am thankful for all of the sweet "I love yous" and "Thank yous" I received yesterday from Violet and Henry.
I am thankful for a yummy breakfast made by Brad and the kids...
I am thankful for a fabulous family bike ride on a beautiful day...
I am thankful for a peaceful swim by myself followed by some fun times with just mommy and Violet in the pool as well where she showed off her new swimming moves!
I am thankful for my amazing mom and all that she has taught me and all that she has given me in life...
And, I am thankful that I got to spend the evening last night with some other great mamas!!
I am thankful for Violet's thoughtful preschool teacher for once again helping Violet to put down the thoughts and words that she wanted to share with me on Mother's Day, as well as a beautiful piece of art...
I am thankful for a loving husband and his occasional splurges ;)
Oh, and lastly, thankful that my sewing desk is still neat and organized because I have some serious business to get down to this week!!
