Back in November when I ordered a bunch of fabric to make these market bags I accidentally ordered a half yard of Joel Dewberry Voile...
Well, it was sort of an accident...I loved the print so, not an accident, but I wasn't paying atttention to the fact that it was voile. Voile is not exactly the right fabric for a market bag...so I set it aside...
Everytime I searched through my fabric stash for some fabric I came across it. I love the combination of orange and aqua. I kept thinking what I might make out of it...it was only a half yard...and then...one day...I decided. Why not make myself something? Why not make an infinity scarf with it? And so, in about 15 minutes or less...I had the perfect lightweight springy scarf...
Sometimes fabric just needs to be kept simple don't you think? Kept in tact so you can see it's whole beauty.
Super simple, sew right sides together, flip right side out, sew ends together...done. I actually sewed a gathering stitch first and then sewed the ends together because I wanted to reduce the bulk at the back of my neck...
I love it! The perfect Springy accessory addition! And, when it's not being worn...it lives on these door knobs, because as it turns out...it is a pretty addition to the room too! :)
