I am so glad that I joined in the hand printing fabric swap that Leslie is having. I love that it made me try something new. And, I love the way my fabric turned out. That all being said, I am a total novice at this hand printing stuff, aside from the occasional freezer paper stencils, etc...In fact, just last night I emailed my fellow swap members with pictures of my fabric because I was afraid that they were too messy from my block and I was concerned that others wouldn't like them. Well, lucky for me, my fellow swappers like that "handmade look"!
As I mentioned in this post, I somehow misplaced the white fabric I had put aside for this project. Instead of heading off to both the fabric shop and the craft store (for stamping supplies) I decided to just go to the craft store and use some organic cotton fat quarters that I already had on hand. Thus, some subtle white birds...
So, now I've jumped in and hope to try it again!
