Bunting, garland, banner...whatever you want to call it...they are always fun to have around, aren't they?
I have certainly made my share for a variety of occasions...
party invitation, Fourth of July, naturally dyed, paper flowers
twine stars, twine hearts, pom poms, Fancy Nancy birthday Stars
celebrate, Happy Day (for a bridal shower)
paper hearts, Fourth of July at the beach, snowflakes, cupcake banner and "bubble garland"
In the shop...
Let it Snow , Celebrate, Joy, Be Merry, Acorns and Jingle Bells
So, after so many, why not one more? But not just any old bunting...a changeable bunting!
Maybe you noticed it when I posted a little picture from our Pumpkin Painting party?
A chalkcloth bunting/banner/garland. Make it once, use it over and over again for whatever your little heart desires! And, bonus, no sewing involved!
What you'll need: chalkcloth, burlap, butcher's twine (or some other string to tie it up), hole punch, glue (I just used a bit of hot glue), scissors.
Trace circles onto burlap and chalkcloth.
Cut circles out. Glue burlap circle onto the back of your chalkcloth circle. Trim up edges. Punch two holes through the tops of each circle. Feed string through. You are all done!
We recently changed ours from saying "Pick a Pumpkin" to "Be Thankful"
A perfect reminder for ourselves this month!
Or, for those days where you might just need a little pick me up.
