Even after building our garden out of pallets this past Spring, we still had one lonely pallet sitting leftover. We kept it knowing that we would find some use for it sometime.
As it turns out, it makes a pretty darn cute little outdoor "Christmas Tree". (loosely inspired by this one that I saw on pinterest)
Brad did the grunt work of sawing off the edges (not that I was slacking...I was raking leaves...) and then I put in a few nails, added some cheapo Christmas balls that I already had, and there you have it! Pretty simple, and cute! Oh, and of course I had to add a star, and why not a star of sticks...
To go along with our stick stars from last year (thank you Brad for saving them!) We are now fully decorated outside...
And in...
It only took, ahem...Five days to get it all done!
Now we are in full on crafting, present making, thinking mode!
