I had this idea for our holiday card this year...
It started like this...
Bits of flannel fabric fussy cut and attached to a piece of felt, photographed and turned into this using PicMonkey...
That wasn't working so I changed it to the snowglobe, which didn't end up being what we used as our card either, but it gave me an idea...A felt board made using holiday fabrics.
I glued felt onto two small pieces of cardboard using fabric glue. Then I fussy cut some more holiday themed fabrics and glued them onto felt as well. Once the glue was dry I cut them out of the felt. Voila, mini holiday felt boards.
Violet immediately began to enjoy them and started to create scenes of her own.
It's been a fun quiet time activity. Unfortunately, Henry hasn't taken to it quite the way Violet has. He would rather crumple all of the pieces in his hand and run around the house with them. But, then again, he is two, so I'm going to blame the "twoness" in him and not the project itself. That's fair, right?
