Today, I made some Bubble Pocket Shorts for Violet...
I had been looking forward to this pattern and bought it immediately once it was released last week. The pockets on the side remind me so much of my favorite Treasure Pocket Pants, perfect for all of Violet's treasures!

I made them using nani iro indigo waltz that I bought during one of Purl Soho's yard sales a while back.
The shirt is yesterday's green cardi...
I skipped the tie, Violet wasn't really interested in it, we decided to go for a crazy big button instead.

I know, I know, I've neglected Henry a bit so far this week...the truth is, I was waiting for the parsley pants pattern to be released...and it has been! So, yeah, he'll get some shorts sooner or later, but he wasn't the one that grew four inches in a year! And so all of his shorts still fit him. And, if I remember correctly he made out better last Spring than Violet did, so...
