Happy St. Patrick's Day! Do you have your green on?
A couple of weeks ago I saw some green denim on sale at Joann and I couldn't resist...I was imagining a pair of green jeans (not to be confused with "Mr. Greengenes", don't know them, yeah, that's my Pennsylvania routes showing through!) perfect for St. Patrick's Day!
A pair of green, parsley pants that is. A comfortable pair of Springy pants for Violet. I've been wanting to make her a pair of parsley pants since seeing how much she's loved her pajama bottom versions...Plus, even with her new upcycled jeans she still really needs pants (not leggings or dresses!).
Which brings me to a pair of kelly green (one of her favorite colors) pants. Shamrock knee patches were her request and the yellow piping is thanks to these orange piped pants that Inder made!
And pintucks too (also inspired by Inder's pants!)...
They are perfect for St. Patrick's Day too with pockets filled with shamrocks...
Of course, she was excited to wear them to school today...but alas, an overnight "snow shower" has cancelled school yet again...
Oh well. She tried them out yesterday at the playground pre-snow, it turns out that they are perfect "strike a pose" pants too... And, all sorts of playground games too... So, anyway...Happy St. Patrick's Day to you! I ask again, are you wearing your green?
And with our green on we are making some Shepherd's pie too!
Sláinte!
