If you haven't already heard the news (over on Instagram...) I'm one of the contributors (among several other amazingly talented ladies!) for the new Petit a Petit family! I'm so excited to join Celina and the rest and today is my first post!
Head on over to see the pretty little heart shaped clay bowls we made inspired by the upcoming Valentine's Day!
While, we were making our bowls and had the clay out we couldn't contain our making it seems and made some sweet little heart candle holders as well...
These are super easy to make and oh so sweet!
You will need...air dry clay, heart shaped cookie cutter, candle, acrylic paints and paint brushes.
Begin with a ball of air dry clay, push flat to about 1 1/2" - 2" thickness...
Push cookie cutter through clay. Holding clay heart in one hand carefully use your candle and push into one of the heart bumps to make an indentation for the candle...
Be careful not to distort your heart too much while doing this. Let clay dry for ~24 hours.
Then paint!
When the paint has dried... light them!
Now you have beautiful, handcrafted candle holders perfect for a romantic candlelit Valentine dinner!
