With all the swimsuit making I was doing for the kids, between rash guards, maillots, swim shorts and tankinis...it only seemed fair that I get some goodies too!
Well, actually it initially started with me making Violet a too big pair of bikini bottoms for this suit...Not a huge mistake though as I had plenty of fabric to make her a new pair...and then kept the too big pair for myself!
I added a bit of runching with elastic thread to the front as I did for Violet's pink polka dot bikini.
Then, the tank top rash guard...
It's yet another Cine tank! I've made so many of these only two have been blogged...I love this pattern so much because it's such a quick sew and it fits me perfectly!
I added a bit of runching along the side seams here as well, just to give it a little extra detail...
I love the way this "make shift" suit turned out...
The bottoms, are so comfy and the rash guard is the perfect thing to toss on over top a bikini top...
Not to mention it's the perfect suit for planks on the beach (no one wants to see post babies tummies planking in a bikini!)
And, for handstands on the beach...
Plus, now...we are all color coordinated...
Fun!
Also...I miss handstands on the beach, beacuse it doesn't hurt when you fall...
Really, though, I just miss the beach!
